In the world we live in, who doesn't want peace? Who doesn't want stability? Who doesn't want to lay their head down at night and have no worries what so ever? I can't say that I always follow my own advice, but I know where real Peace comes from. There was an accident involving a couple of people I work with. A three year old was accidentally killed when his father ran over him with a piece of heavy equipment. I can't pretend to know what he is going through. All I can do is pray that the "Prince of Peace" will wrap His arms around the dad and give him perfect peace. I have a family member that lost his job. I can't offer him a job, but I can pray that he will keep his focus fixed on God. I am going to be a dad for the third time. I have been told on multiple occasions, "I feel sorry for you. This is not the time to raising kids!" If Peter would have focused on the Lord, he would have never sank! I have peace about Logan Bryce.

One night I went to visit a person who had attended Fair Haven the day before. they were not home, so I started home but took a detour to a church that had ask me to fill in. Midland Heights was looking for a pastor. I pulled into the parking lot, got out of my car and walked the property. I was praying about this church and for this church, before they ever asked me to be the pastor. When they did ask.............. I had peace.
