Latest Update
Some amazing things happened over the last couple of days. Not all of this update is amazing, some of it is very ordinary, but I wanted to include them anyway.

I traded my beautiful, black 2005 Dodge Stratus in on a bigger, beautiful, white, 2001 Chevy Tahoe. It has a lot of miles, but is in great shape and it will hold all my peeps since it has a third row seat. I inherited my wife's 2008 Dodge Avenger, so I can't complain.

I got a call (yes I said a phone call) from my Granddaddy, Saturday. He has never called me. He could never hear over the phone until he got the CI. I was shocked when he was on the other end of the line. He needed me to help him go get a battery for his truck. It was great to actually be able to help him, but to hear him on the phone was different to say the least.

I had my first baptism at MHBC Sunday. I also had another person join the church (that makes 3 in two weeks). To me, a healthy church has those elements happening, conversions, members joining and baptism's.
Sunday night, we had a praise/fellowship night out under the pavilion at MH. I have never seen a church that loves to fellowship (eat) as much as they/we do. I am loving it. I had some friends show up Sunday that I was thrilled to see.

Sunday (6/7) the church is going to vote to remove the "interim" label off of me. It was suppose to be a three month process, but the pulpit committee decided to cease all searches and asked me to take the job on a permanent basis after two weeks. The only way I can explain it is God is moving in that place. I am blessed to be a part of it. I look forward to meeting each Sunday and Wednesday.

Softball is going great. After my "procedure" I was relegated to AH (only hit, did not play a position in the field) last night. I did not enjoy that nearly as much, but still had a decent night at the plate. I was 4-6. I also asked for a pinch runner once I got to first base. My last at bat, I placed a ball right down the first base line and had to "high-step" all the way to 3rd base. I enjoy playing with these guys and we are winning which makes it even better. We are still tied for 1st place with only one loss.
